Thanks to having gone for a game of bingo at his local Gala Bingo Club in Wadsley Bridge a fifty-two year old warehouse supervisor from Sheffield is today nearly £34 000 richer. The lucky winner has been a fan of bingo for years and a member at this particular Gala Bingo Club for eight years. He plays with his mother and they go to the club sometimes two to three times per week.
Good fortune struck the gentleman when he won the National bingo prize of £31 660, together with the regional prize of £2 118 and the cherry on the cake was the house prize of £125, bringing his winning jackpot cash prize to the incredible amount of £33 903. He completed a full house and called bingo on the forty-sixth number. This was the lowest call in all 470 participating bingo clubs throughout the UK.
The lucky winner said that he enjoys playing bingo as it gets him out of the house on a regular basis and he does not do much activity wise, so he has no idea what he is going to be spending the money on. I don’t know about you, but I certainly could give him a few ideas!
